Over the course of my career, I have seen that even the most meticulously planned projects can face unforeseen and significant resource and time constraints. Often, we brought in outside engineers to solve the company’s problems. Later, I found myself being called by peers at companies both large and small to provide engineering expertise and support. It required the commitment of working long hours in short intervals and a “deep work” focus on creative problem solving, but I found a great deal of personal satisfaction in being able to step in and deliver.  This is why I started Special Forces Engineering.
